1999 Lexus SC400 - $7999 3 Attachment(s) Just purchased another '99 with 70k so I am selling this one. - 172,000 miles (I purcahsed the car 4 years ago with 95,000 miles. I drive between BC and Washington/Oregon/NorCal 3-4 times a month, which is why I've put so much mileage on it in the time that I've owned it.) - Clean Title - Replaced transmission mount ~1.5 year ago - Peplaced spark plugs with NGK Laser Iridium ~1.5 year ago - Less than 1 year old tires (80%+ tread left) - New battery & alternator installed 1ish year ago. - Synthetic oil used for the life of the car - ALWAYS garaged - 1 of 905 produced - The car is 3 owner (I am the 4th), however the second and third owners were husband/wife. First owner was a doctor in North Carolina. Second owner (the guy that I purchased it from) worked for the US military in Phoenix, AZ. I flew to Phoenix and drove the car back to Vancouver. The vehicle was imported mid-August 2009 and I've been driving it since. I have an extensive history of the previous two owners of the car, and emails exchanged between myself and the previous owner about the car. I can show this to serious buyers only. Clear CarFax report in hand. - exterior 9/10 condition. There are no noticeable scratches dents or dings on the body. There is a tiny (half a penny size) dent on the passenger quarter-panel, you cant even see it unless you look closely, and a small door-ding on the passenger door. I keep the car regularily detailed to protect the paint and prevent rust. - interior 9/10 condition. The tan leather looks almost unused. The only signs on wear are on the drivers seat - which should be expected with a 14 year old 172k car. The passenger seat and back seats looks brand-new. NO tears or holes anywhere. Common problems (such as cracks, tears, broken door panels, broken vents, etc) are non-existent in this car! To be completely honest, this car is in better condition than the 70k SC I just purchased..! I'll let you take a look at both to compare even. Negatives: The previous owner had the front bumper repainted due to hitting a piece of tire on the freeway. I had the rear bumper repainted after someone nudged me at a stop light and spider-webbed the paint. I have pictures of this incident to show. There is also an intermittent CEL (on about 30% of the time) for a bad "bank 2 catalytic-converter" (which I believe is the passenger side), but the car still passed AirCare (BC verison of smog). I can email more detailed pics upon request. Need to sell the car by Friday so I can purcahse some things for the new one. So therefore I am felxible with the price. After Friday I will be more firm with the price. $7999 CAD Not really looking to ship unless I get a good offer. Obviously the buyer must cover all shipping expenses if we go that route. I can drive a few hours to meet someone halfway between somewhere to sell the car. |
