Where To Find Day Labourers...

I know there are places where guys who need work are always waiting first thing in the morning for someone to give them work - I've even driven past a couple over the years, but forget where they are. Perhaps a labour office or something?

I need some general stuff done and I'd rather hire some guys directly then go to a temp agency. I thought one place was near Main Street and 2nd Ave? Or if anyone knows of a place in Burnaby even better.

Pretty sure along commercial near sky train. A block from there is a work per day spot.

we deal with "Best" Labour

none of them are great, its really dependant on the workers you get, some are crack heads, some are hard working students looking for spare money

This is the corner you're looking for. Ontario and 2nd. Funnily enough, I'm pretty sure some of the guys in the streetview are probably guys waiting for work.

My company has dealt with Labor Ready - we've had a few guys from there, and they're not bad. I think it's $20 an hr, minimum 4 hrs with them.

Hmm I've got a wedding to pay for, maybe I should come work for you a couple days a week.:okay:

flagella 02-06-2013 08:25 PM

You barely have enough money to pay for wedding and you're marrying?

westopher 02-06-2013 08:33 PM

What the fuck is that supposed to mean?
I have a job that pays for our food, apartment on the ocean, dog, car and whatever the fuck else we want to do. I don't have a spare 20k lying around for a wedding and you think because of that I shouldn't be getting married?
