Having never seen the show and having no context, I was going to say how fucking bad the movie looked... Then the twist of course, but I still have no idea what this movie is going to be about. I have to assume that it's literally unwatchable unless you have seen the entire series

I'm not sure you'll appreciate the film without watching the series. The series is overall pretty fun. No real plots- just friends hanging out and enjoying the Hollywood life. There's also the cameos as well. It's not unwatchable if you haven't seen the series, but you'll probably miss out on some of the nuance.

On a different note: I wonder how many cameos they're going for in 2+ hours. In that trailer there's already a million. Count the people who were on set and had pictures taken and posted to twitter, and you can imagine seeing a cameo every minute.

It's basically that trashy rich Asian girl YouTube show but with dudes in Hollywood and instead of hating each other, they bro out like bros.

I still haven't watched the last season. Watched the first three seasons as they came out and the show lost me after that. Might catch up and see this, we'll see though.

You're not alone, I've never watched an episode. It's one of those shows I always meant to watch but then it was into season 2 then 3 and I didn't want to start watching from the middle nor did I want to try and catch up.
