I know 5 and 6 take place before Tokyo Drift but since they're driving new cars the timeline is kinda messed. Oh well Han is pretty cool so I'm not complaining.

I was reading up on this last year when there were rumors that Fast and Furious 6 & 7 were to be filmed back to back simultaneously. It was their original intent to release Fast Six in two parts, but it looks like they are not going that route anymore.

This definitely won't be the last F&F installment though, more than most likely there will be a 7.

They've steered the franchise away from the underground car racing genre and instead made a step towards action filled heists instead to appeal to a broader audience
