Penthouse for a stag (locally)
 

I'm trying to help the best man on my buddy's wedding find a penthouse for a stag.

Must be/have:
-at least 2 bedrooms
-big living room or open space with the kitchen/bar
-and being able to be as noisy as we can is a must (adult entertainment :fullofwin:)

I tried to search in the forum but came up with nothing or thread is too old.

Have you considered penthouse of a hotel?
We did River Rock for an after party.

We brought cases and cases of beer, and backpacks full of liquor.
We were loud enough to wake the dead.
It's not super high, but we got decent open-air balcony with couches.

Done a couple stags at River Rock.. you can be as loud as you want.

check airbnb..some crazy stuff for rent on there in and around Vancouver

Skip the river rock. Last time we booked it they would not let us stay. We barley got in the room before they told us to leave. Russel Brand was in the next suite, so I guess they didn't want anyone to disturb him.

yeah River Rock was the first that came to mind. But the best man wasn't too sure if we were allowed to be as loud as we want.

Did a stag there before, people complain about the noise and they shut you down

River Rock won't let you be as loud as you want. They would get securities to kick you out and keep your booking money

Good luck finding a hotel that will let you be "as noisy as you want." After a noise complaint or two, you'll get shut down. Especially if you're only there for one night. But hey, its a stag party, so go nuts. Any hotel will happily take your money... :thumbsup:

I do know of a friends penthouse you may be able to rent. But since you want to be noisy as you want. Its $5000/night. :fullofwin:

The two stags I've been to @ RR were pretty loud. We had "entertainment" as well. We even got one of the staff who was delivering more glasses a lappy.. never had an issue..

Just go to whistler and leave in the morning. You cAn be as loud as you want and far far away from SO .

good luck finding a hotel that will let u be as loud as u want, most if not all hotels will kick u out if they receive noise complaint after 11PM. the only reason y some of u guys had successful parties were most likely because the hotel was empty/slow so no one was staying arnd ur rm to complain abt the noise ur making

I booked the penthouse suite of the villa (now a casino hotel at willingdon and hwy1) a few years back. It had a kitchenette pation two bathrooms two bedrooms two floors and a living room. It wasnt cheap they wanted a fat deposit but it was worth it. Try them perhaps. They didnt allow us to bring in our own booze but many moons proir I worked there so I knew how to get to the service elevator and all the passages to get to them.

After we got kicked out of the River Rock we ended up at the villa. 20+ in a small penthouse suite. Brought up our own booze and had no noise complaints.

How much were these rooms in river rock/villa?

Beautiful Fully Furnished 2 Level Penthouse in Yale-Town

The villa was off season and cost us IIRC $350. On the top floor its just these large "honeymoon/executive" suites four to be exact so the chances of noise complaints are slim.

Hotel Georgia rents out their penthouse, you can use it for parties and what not..we were told that noise complaints weren't going to be much of an issue because they are relatively isolated from the rest of the hotel. The price was a bit steep though..
