The P1 supposedly doesn't have super wide tires, but it is still massively wide :hotbaby:

well shit, cant wait to see it on our roads

loved the nurburgring video of the P1. had to watch it a couple times to appreciate it.

Whens the first ones expected to land in Vancouver? Im heading to the autoshow this weekend and i really hope a P1 will be there!!

Twenty years after McLaren won the 24 hours of Le Mans in the legendary F1 GTR, McLaren will ressurect the iconic GTR name for the track only version of the McLaren P1. After all 375 road cars will have left the MTC In Woking, McLaren will start producing the most powerful McLaren to date – The P1 GTR.

The P1 GTR will be offering you a power upgrade up to 1000 hp (986 bhp), slick tires with a widened track for better grip and an improved design giving it even more downforce than the road car.

The decision to produce a track-only variant is in response to demand to McLaren P1 owners. The McLaren P1 GTR programme will be priced at £1.98m, and will include a tailored programme created for each customer to build driver capability. It will include exclusive consultations with the McLaren driver fitness team and Design Director Frank Stephenson, privileged access to one of the McLaren racing simulators, and participation in a minimum of six dedicated international drive events to be held at some of the world’s most iconic Formula 1™ circuits. Exact production numbers are still to be determined, but will be strictly limited.

The P1 GTR will have a close rival, the LaFerrariXX which is Ferraris track only version of their current hypercar. Only Porsche hasn´t built a track only car of the 918 Spyder and we haven´t heard about plans to do so.
