Anyone know if you can use Win 10 backward compatibility to run P.A. soft and similar programs?

So I got PA Soft 1.4 and I'm trying to run it with BMW Scanner Demo, but I keep getting the "Hardware Faulty" error. I'm using Windows 10 x64 OS. Anyone got ideas?

Is there anyone in town who codes E46?

Can't do it myself as I only have Macs at home and the only PC I have is my work computer
