I get that feeling but I really don't find it offensive, what's there to be offended by? yeah she's afraid she's losing her people/culture/color and it's because of the overwhelming number of immigrants and she sounds a bit bitter. but am I feel pity more than offended, I don't find the need to make a debacle over it. maybe I'm just completely missing the point or not reading the subtext, clear it up for me if I am.

on a sort of off topic note:
being white is a form of skin mutation, at one point everyone was tanned and dark. so who knows, say in 50 years we're all beige... well then we'll be all androids and robots, then aliens will take over as previously mentioned, then our skin color might mutate again to white... doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things
