best place ive had so far is in empire centre (next to parker, where the old hons use to be), in the food court theres a place called "leung kee". Watch out during peak lunch hour, they get crazy busy and could take a while its pretty hard to miss because theyre the only shop thats always packed in a dead foodcourt haha. The also have "car son noodle" where you pick your own toppings and noodles. |

Not in GVRD but if you're ever in NYC; hit up a restaurant called "Bo Ky" in Chinatown NYC. The rice noodle is thick and wide, soup broth is delicious too. Cheap too US$3.75 |
Went to Sun Yee Chinese Restaurant with my Family tonight. http://www.tastyvancouver.com/wp-con...5/IMG_2038.jpg http://www.tastyvancouver.com/wp-con...5/IMG_2042.jpg http://www.tastyvancouver.com/wp-con...5/IMG_2047.jpg http://www.tastyvancouver.com/wp-con...5/IMG_2048.jpg http://www.tastyvancouver.com/wp-con...5/IMG_2052.jpg 7.3/10 – Not too bad....Cheap & authentic Chinese food. Just don’t order that deep fried squid and you will be okay. |
