Probably because he was doing mandatory military duty while kpop was starting to get really popular.

I wanna hang out with psy and be a douche. It looks fun.

too many guys in the MV doing hip thrusts and PSY is pulling out his fuck face far too often...may be that's your thing.

Gangnam style was better than this new song.

I watched the new song a second time around, and it got better, but still not as good as Gangnam style's dance and tune.

Expectations are so high that nothing he puts out will ever compare to gangnam style....however, that doesn't mean he won't have other successful songs. isn't it like that with most recording artists?

pastarocket 04-14-2013 07:11 PM

North and South Korea are so different. You have a fat dude in South Korea that does a decent job of entertaining with his cheesy dance moves and songs.

Then you have a younger, fat dude from the north trying to use a war of words and military power to scare the shit out of some Asian countries and the U.S. :fulloffuck:

dinosaur 04-14-2013 07:55 PM

But both can organized the fuck outta people and have them rock the same moves....one just happens to choose goose stepping over dancing.

But a lot of times what happens is soulja boy syndrome. In the world of youtube sensations the ability to overcome a one hit wonder situation is even harder than before

That said this is already quite popular, not gangham style popular but enough to bring him potential of a few more years of success in the na market in my opinion... Good for him, I'm all for something different
