The digital edition was JUST published today. Good catch. The printed edition (magazine) comes out in 7 days. I can't believe Jade took the 2nd spot for Chinese. I went there once, and the food was average. I will have to try Hoi Tong, which I googled, and is suppose to be a 7 table restaurant. |
Many fine dining restaurants will make a VIP menu if you call in ahead of time (1-2weeks) and prepare a coursed meal unique to your needs. I would suggest Diva@theMet as I had an excellent coursed meal there (changes season to season) and also ThePearTree (previous cook here, top notch in details and ideas; not to mention represented canada in BocuseDor [culinary "olympics"] and chef of the year 2007) - both with extensive wine selections! |

Thanks a lot for everyone's suggestions and feedback So I made reservations at Blue Water Cafe for one of nights. My cousin requested Japanese for the other night, so I'm still deciding which resturant to go to. I'm honestly just thinking of going with Ebisu since I've had pretty consistent service/food there, not sure if my aunt/uncle would appreciate the extra $ spent at a Miku, Minani, Octopus Garden or Tojos. But I haven't decided yet, so any input for Japanese Resturant is welcome. I will also likely take them for Dim Sum at the richmond Kirin one morning, and likely for lunch at the Fish house at stanley park one day as well. Hopefully that should be enough to keep them fed for the 2 days that I'm 'stuck' with them. Posted via RS Mobile |
