He couldn't endure the speed of the Mercedes-Benz C300 in front of him in the left lane, travelling at 60km/h. He strategically looks for a safe exit to pass the C300 and abruptly changes lanes after the intersection. Law abiding indeed.
But all hell breaks loose after the pass. Man and machine come together - The spirit of Soichiro Honda takes over and overwhelms Santofu with the first and only rule, "VTEC MUST KICK IN!" The voices in his head tell him to put the pedal to the metal - 4000rpm, the F20C climbs in desperation...then VTEC KICKS IN! And away he goes..only to be stuck behind a row of pedestrian cars and trucks in the bane of traffic.
