iPhone 5 - spots on lens

1 Attachment(s)
I just noticed spots on my lens and it is definitely not external. I even wiped the lens with rubbing alcohol.

It looks internal. Is there anyway to remove the spots besides bringing it the apple store? Phone is under warranty but it's a hassle to bring it in.

How did it manage to get the spots in there in the first place? The lens look sealed to me. I took a picture of a white wall and you can see the spots clearly.

Dust on the sensor.

Is there a way for me to dust it with an air can without opening up the iphone? I have had iphones since 2007. I started with 3G, 3GS, 4S, and 5S. This is my first encounter with dust on the sensor. I'm wondering if the hardware quality of iphones are going downhill.

You should take it to the Apple Store. They can probably do an exchange.

I'll talk to apple. I'm sure this will happen again and it is a hassle to keep on exchanging phones and they don't even give you a new one. It's refurbished.

Apple will probably blame you on the way you were holding the phone....... kidding! I hope it will be an easy one for one exchange

I have the same issue on my iPhone. I'll probably take it in tomorrow and hopefully they can replace it for me too :D.

I've got a big spot too! I'll try and see what they say at the Apple store.

They should replace it on the spot for you!

That's what happened with mine :D

I had this same problem. The Apple store replaced it on the spot. They replace them with refurbished ones. The refurbished one has a loose screen that sometimes makes a click sound when I press it. I really hate it and I can't complain because it doesn't happen all the time.

^^^
I had that issue with my last replacement, you can complain about it and get it replaced. it doesn't have to happen all the time, it just has to happen.
