iPhone 5 - spots on lens 1 Attachment(s) I just noticed spots on my lens and it is definitely not external. I even wiped the lens with rubbing alcohol. It looks internal. Is there anyway to remove the spots besides bringing it the apple store? Phone is under warranty but it's a hassle to bring it in. How did it manage to get the spots in there in the first place? The lens look sealed to me. I took a picture of a white wall and you can see the spots clearly. |
Dust on the sensor. |

You should take it to the Apple Store. They can probably do an exchange. |

Apple will probably blame you on the way you were holding the phone....... kidding! I hope it will be an easy one for one exchange |
My friend got the same problem few months ago. Go into apple store and they give you a new phone hassle free Posted via RS Mobile |
I have the same issue on my iPhone. I'll probably take it in tomorrow and hopefully they can replace it for me too :D. |
I've got a big spot too! I'll try and see what they say at the Apple store. |
They should replace it on the spot for you! That's what happened with mine :D |
I had this same problem. The Apple store replaced it on the spot. They replace them with refurbished ones. The refurbished one has a loose screen that sometimes makes a click sound when I press it. I really hate it and I can't complain because it doesn't happen all the time. |
^^^ I had that issue with my last replacement, you can complain about it and get it replaced. it doesn't have to happen all the time, it just has to happen. |
This is a known problem with the iPhone 5, bring it back to Apple Store they will replace one for you ... Make sure you make a appointment with the genius bar first |
