Riding in trailers
 
I'm trying to find a reference to riding in trailers in the MVA but I can't seem to find it.

What section prohibits riding in trailers?

Section 1.2, Common sense:
One shall not do anything as stupid as ride in a trailer

I completely agree. I was trying to find the section to see if it also can be applied to those stupid toddler trailers being towed by bicycles. Nothing like using your baby as a bumper on your bicycle.

Wear a helmet and you're perfectly legal.

Speaking of trailers does anybody know the legality of leaving the hitch on when not towing anything?

Heard fixed responses, would like to be able to keep the hitch on in case of getting rear ended

My Dad has kept the hitch on his various work trucks since the early 90's, aswell as his personal vehicles. NEVER had a problem with it. It's especially nice when some awesome person decides to pull into the spot behind you and park by touch. :troll:
