why does RS mobile site suck?

did you guys notice that RS mobile site is very hard to read or use compare to other vbulletin forums?

SkinnyPupp 05-04-2013 06:51 PM

If someone else asks this, I'll address it. Currently this is nothing more than a troll post.

Moving to proper forum

if you don't like the mobile site, just use the full browser version on your phone. You can do that using chrome or dolphin.

I thought I read somewhere there was an app for RS for android? Might wanna check that out.

Will there be one for iphone/bb?

Only complaint is you can't thank/fail. Otherwise it's great.

I haven't come across any problems with it.

Shut up, it's a free service you really have no right to complain.

MindBomber 05-04-2013 10:20 PM

Timpo's not crazy. I too have noticed RS mobile viewing is less streamlined than the equivalent of other vbulletin forums; what we have presently is hardly unusable, though. I wouldn't say the difference is significant enough to dedicate much time to changes.

The reason other boards have good interfaces is that they basically "sold" their traffic in exchange for the UI. Usually these will be powered by tapatalk, etc

We WILL be undergoing a huge upgrade eventually. I just need to find the time to devote to it, so there's as little downtime as possible during the transition.

The new interface will ideally be the same on desktop and mobile, including a much beefier thanks and fail system.
