I can see your really using the movement of the camera to your advantage, but make sure when you edit, you also follow that same movement (some parts you did that but at times, it was jumpy.). Experiment & Play around with brightness & contrast alongside with the music.

But Overall,

Good work man. :)

^^ Naw, what the car needs is a nice set of wheels :D

A motion shot should always cut into another motion shot. Only time you'll transition to a still shot is if the previous shot stops at the end before you cut. And speaking of cuts, if you use fast paced music, your edits should also be faster to match the beat. Oh, also, rule of thirds is your friend. You've got some good ideas for your shots; they just need to be fine tuned a bit.

Don't take this criticism too hard. I liked it and I can see potential for future videos.

Coming from a professional videographer, that means a lot :D Thanks!

Oh, gotta add in some props to the OP, mb. Most people won't click go on Youtube to read the description, I think lol.

Gotta thank Santofu for using his car for chase shots, and to entrax for helping direct and edit. :D

mb_ 05-05-2013 09:44 PM

Don't forget Santofu threatening to ban both of us if we didn't thank him for using his car :troll:

Remember you gotta debadge that OEM + to OEM -

Lomac 05-05-2013 11:08 PM

Quickly slapped a slightly edited, condensed version together as an example. I know I made one transition incorrectly, but I'm tired. And ignore the film flare bit. The song I used had too long of a pacing between beats to cut it together properly :p

For the record, I'm not trying to upstage you at all here, mb_. I just wanted to show you what was meant by syncing transitions and what introducing a bit of different colouring into a video can produce.

kakucaekz 05-05-2013 11:21 PM

Jaw dropping. Never thought my car could look so cool LOL. The syncing and transitions are just amazing.

Damn that's awesome! Not only the edit but the fact that you took your time to make suggestions for potential future projects :fullofwin: Thanks Lomac! :)
