sounds like you should consider doing exercise rehab to improve your posture. . If you have any questions feel free to pm me. I am a kinesiology.

An x-ray might not be the most diagnostic as a tool. Especially if you have soft tissue or nerve damage. An MRI may be a better approach although line ups take forever. However, even an MRI is unable to reveal primary issues if they are veiled by secondary symptoms.

My suggestion is to try and push your doctor to refer you to a specialist. From working in a clinical setting, it is difficult to see the many problems that go unnoticed until a very late stage so addressing problems early is the smart and safe thing to do.

Hope this helps.

I agree with this.

But it's weird, you've been to Chiros and physios, yet they probably would have address the following info I just wrote down below......

Maybe you do need an MRI, as the other poster suggested.

And a picture from you would help.

If you search in the workout thread, guys were having similar issues. Essentially looking like a neanderthal.

You may have an anterior pelvic tilt and need to do corrective exercises. Do you sit on your ass alot, in front of the computer? Slouch?

2 - if your shoulders are slouching forward, creating the roundness when walking, then you might need to tighten your rhomboids, (muscles in your back that when stronger, will bring the shoulders back more), correcting your posture.

I had a weird back as well, but overtime with these exercises, I helped minimize the slouching posture.

Hope it helps.

Coles Notes:

If it's nothing serious, then it sounds like your back needs strengthening work done. The upperback, so GYM work is needed.
I had a weak lower back, but moderate deadlifts/rows/compound work has essentially solved it.
