$375 out the door with a waranty. Money was not the issue. Sure i like saving $100 if i can, but i was aware id be fucked so hard up my ass, i would have just gone to broco or speedy. If he was honest with me and admitted he was wrong, i would have gladly went halfers with him. It was the principle of the situation. The glass was defected and he blamed the situation on me. Both shops and plenty of other forums users have said it was a pressure crack from a defected install/ piece of glass and even if i had removed the tape early, it should not have cracked. Broco also cleaned up all the messy dripped urethane for me. A+

i got my car tinted from him back in sept 2012 for $175, i was not satisfied with it. The guy that did my tint cut some of the tint a bit short so on my rear passenger side for my small window, there is a gap that allows light to emit through, and for my for my left passenger door, he also cut it a bit short too and it looks really bad. These people that did it were really sketchy to me, and did not let me check up on my car while they were doing the tint on it. Once the tint was done, my car smelled like cigarette butts, and I'm a non smoker so the smell irritated me for a week, the guy told me some instructions about maintaining the window tint, and he was like that don't roll your front windows down for a week, and don't roll your rear windows down for at least a month, don't use cleaning products to clean the windows, and don't turn on your rear defrosters either. once i got my car, I've noticed some stains on my door. my door has a fake soft touch leather thing as an arm rest, and I tried to get rid of this stain, but it wouldn't come off. also my car was very dirty too after i got it back, and there was like some dried up powdery stuff around the windows, which kind of look like dried up wax that has not been wiped off after waxing your car after a few days. the dirtiness of my car irritated me for weeks, because i have an OCD of keeping my car clean and not having any horrendous smells present in it. I would not recommend these people to anyone even though they were recommended to me by a good buddy of mine

I don't mind paying a little extra as the job is done proper, and won't be a hassle in the near future

I had this issue too when i got my car back. The car a mess on the inside with cut up tint everywhere and paper towel bits in the rear. Still havent had time to give it a good clean down. I too have the OCD you suffer from, and keep my air vents all in line just like James May lol

Good glass guys are hard to find and I've seen this happen numerous times. Buddy fucked up. The windsheild cracked because he didnt have a proper bond at the point where the crack started. he probably didnt clear away any of the original urethane either to prevent having to primer the frame. Bottom line he fucked up by bein cheap not you. The car is safe to drive after four hours not just pull the tape off in five hours. If he let you drive the car before at least four hours cure time then he's an idiot. You shouldnt have payed for anything to do with the original instal and if you did they should have fixed it free.

I had my BMW e90 glasses tinted by them, I bargained the guy down to $160 for all 4 windows + back window. The shop is shady as hell, I felt uncomfortable the whole time I sat up front for like 4 god damn hours while they monkeyed around trying to put the tint on my back window because my rear seats didn't fold down. THey did a pretty decent job however it seemed like a pretty shady operation. I would never go back there or recommend anyone to that shop however.
