Wanted: Photographer for Band Event
 

Hey folks,

This is probably a long shot but I will put it out there anyway.

I am a member of the North Vancouver Community Band and we are playing at several public events for the month of June. The Band is a non-profit community organization and all band members share an interest of making music. We play throughout the year at seniors homes, community centres, band festivals and fundraisers for non-profit organizations.

Our upcoming gigs are on Friday, June 7 @ 7pm at the West Vancouver Presbytarian Church. This gig is a benefit concert for the North Shore Crisis Society. All ticket* proceeds are donated 100% to the Crisis Society. (The Church is simply providing the venue for the event. There is no religious affiliation just to be clear.)

The second gig is at the Ladner Bandfest on Sunday, June 9 at 11am in Ladner's Memorial Park. There will be plenty of bands throughout the day and the event is free!

I'm looking to see if anybody out there is interested in attending these events to take a few photos for us to be used on our (not so amazing) website and Facebook page. Because we are a non-profit community organization, unfortunately we do not have the funds to pay a photographer. It would be amazing if somebody here on RS could offer their time and talent. These events are a great way to spend the day and to expand your portfolio! :)
