I'm curious if their insurance policy covers Tornado. I'd probably say No.

You can buy insurance to cover anything, anywhere, in any circumstance... in Tornado Alley though, twister coverage would probably cost you a fortune in premiums. It would be cheaper to just stuff the money in your mattress.

New tornado hitting Oklahoma. Just heard on CNN the Dominator has lost its hood.

Oklahoma City too. All the stations are covering it and pre-empting the Turkish protests

Not to sound like a prick or anything but I can understand Canada helping out 2nd 3rd and especially 1st world country's when a natural disaster cripples them. In this case the US is fully capable to provide all the food/water and services needed to help their own people.

They should take that food and feed our homeless and Canadian citizens struggling rather then helping out hurricane victims that are fully aware of what they are getting them selves into by living there..

You can't compare Japan to what has been happening because it's a completely different situation with what happened by the earthquake and tsunami crippling the whole country and with the nuclear issues they were having as well. I'm not say the people should move hell no but they key when living in the "tornado zone" during the season is being prepared and having a exit plan/safe zone which will help reduce casualty's. You have to remember you can see/tell when a tornado is going to touch down so you actually have time to react unlike a earthquake or even a Tsunami in some cases.

Canada is the greatest country in the world with how giving we are helping out and it makes me feel good being a Canadian citizen we are like that and such a unselfish country but it really seems like we are giving these other countries help when we are not focusing on our on home grown issues of poverty, long wait times with our medical system and the other issues the average person doesn't notice that happen around us on a regular basis.
