Cerberus Android App - Free today only - MUST HAVE APP
 

Remember that thread of the girl who lost her Nexus 4 and they found the guy who stole it? Well this is the app the OP used. But, it's now FREE!!! Today only though.
edit Looks like the app is free until June 7, 1pm EST. But, I would get it now just in case.


Go to the playstore and download, "Appgratis" (You must download this first!!!)
Once downloaded, open it and click on the free app of the day which is "Cerberus" and you'll get a lifetime license.

*You have to download appgratis first, then click cerberus. Otherwise, you'll only get the trial version.

The online command centre is awesome. You can:
Locate your phone (even if GPS is off, the app will turn the GPS on)
Take video, audio, and pictures on demand
wipe the device
send the device a message
make the phone "scream"
lock the phone
unlock the phone

Is Cerberus transferable to another phone? (Download on old phone but expecting new phone in upcoming few months)

edit: Turns out I can add up to 5 devices per account

You don't need Appgratis first. Just need to download Cerberus off Google Playstore and register.
It has to be a new account (if you had used the trial before it won't work).
If it says need internet connection, it just means the server is overloaded because of this promotion.
