Stolen car keys ginger 62 last night.

Hey guys someone stole my keys and wallet last night at ginger
Keys are from bmw looks like a black key fob.
The problem is that these are my only set and my car is nearby that cost 30 a day to park.
Dealership is closed on Sundays so I'm screwed .
Just wondering if u guys would know If all I need is a vin number to get a set .
Or would I need to tow my car at the shop for them to program the key.
Because its stolen can icbc cover the key since I heard online prices are around 400 for a key.
My car is 2007 328i
Insurance is with icbc full coverage $300 deductible
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
My number 604-880-4416

People cannot read your mind or know your situation off the bat, so you might want to give more information like what year and model is your car? or what's your insurance coverage? Even though the key might $400, if you go through ICBC comprehensive, you still out $300 for the deductible.

However getting replacement key is quick assuming the key blank you want is in stock, not backordered.. which might take a while.

It depends on year is your car and which dealership you frequent.. usually if dealership have you on file you don't need much info. If you know your service adviser, I don't think you need much info at all.

Call BMW Roadside Assistance they will tow the car for you 24/7.

Take a deep breath. $30 a day is not that much.

Can you post the story of how they were stolen? Hooker gone bad or did you leave them on a table or something?

also, if the thief is on rs they now know where to look for an uncomfortable 2007 328i

I'm not going to want to pay $30 for parking just because I drive a bimmer.

30 a day is nothing , but if you add up the number of days for parking plus the tow and the keys an programming it's going to cost me around $500.

He drives a 328, you think hes rich? He just wants to look rich. He obviously had his key fob on the table to impress some kids with the BMW emblem on the fob.

The keys and wallet were stolen out my jacket pocket . I was wearing it the whole time

there's been some pick pocketing at vancouver clubs.
my buddys coworker had his phone pick pocketed last month when he went clubbing.
gotta be careful

Its probably obvious, but have you tried calling ginger 62? I mean MAYBE you dropped them. If in fact your jacket was on the whole night its unlikely, but I've lost my keys at a bar and found them there the next day. Either way losing keys/wallet is fucking such a hassle. Hope its relatively pain free to sort it out for you.

I emailed and called them but they are closed on Sundays

I'd fail the shit out of your post if I had a fail button. Driving a 328i doesn't mean he wants to look rich nor does it mean he was showing off his fob.

No idea how people liked your ignorant reply, pretty disappointed that this reply came from some guy with almost 9k posts.

Thanks to everyone trying to help.
I called around and found out as long as I have my vin and drivers licence for I'd I can order it without brining my car in .

mods you can close thread

bmw keys, 2weeks order. you need to bring your drivers license and insurance (both must be you) to the dealership upon ordering.

Since op doesn't have comfort access the new key fob will initialize upon insertion into the slot, however you should go to your nearest center to have the stolen/lost key deactivated. Also, consider getting a complete new lock set as your lost key for does house the actual metal key, which can still allow access into your vehicle.

Talk to your insurance adjuster.
