Samsung 65" LED TV owners? A bunch of places have this Samsung LED TV on sale right now Samsung 65" 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV (UN65EH6000FXZC) : LED TVs - Best Buy Canada Samsung 65" 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV (UN65EH6000FXZC) Anyone here that owns this TV and can give feedback? I understand it's a base model TV, and the minimal amount of inputs sucks... but as far as the panel/picture, reliability go, good buy? |
if you are not too keen on the picture quality and you want to go big. This is definitely a great buy. Or, get a projector, such as Epson 3020 with a 100inch fixed projector screen (depends on area of your wall) for around 2000. |
im not keen on samsungs reliability had 2 bad experiences with sets that we place in rooms googled and samsung reliability issues dont seem to be unique this is based on sets from a few years ago though maybe that's changed if size isn't a major issue i'd go down to 60" or even 55" and grab a sony instead i think there are still some hx750/850 sets around with superior pq even the 650 is supposed to have better pq than that samsung set if you would like a larger set and lower price go with Panasonic over samsung read some reviews and comparisons at AVS | Home Theater Discussions And Reviews cnet etc |
this set regularly goes on sale for special pricing events. |
Just as a heads up Samsung likes to cheap out on the parts sometimes.. My last Samsung was a 40" LCD my screen stopped working one day. I was out of warrenty, so I looked around on the net for a solution and found one. Apparently a common problem is they put low quality or low capacity capacitors into the tv.. I was able to fix the mine by replacing a few of the burnt out capacitors. Cost me probably about $20-30 bucks to fix myself. |
