We were different people and it was a different forum back then. I liked that we regularly got together IRL to eat, drink (mostly drink), talk shit, and thrust people's groins into trees.

There were more spontaneous meets back then. We would just call each other up for random shit. We went to Queen E Park for some reason one night...I don't even remember why. We had parties at each other's houses. I remember the AGLY crew (thread above) went out a lot. We went clubbing before it became a douchefest. I remember we took little Ch28 out to a club for the first time and I bought that kid a drink.

But as with any group of people, we all got old and with oldness, you don't get enough time anymore...plus a bunch of those folks aren't on the board anymore. I mean, I was 17 when I joined.

Some of RS' most epic events happened in 2001 and 2002. Or even before.

I mean...YOU ARE SO DEAD...DOT COM.

Everyone was a lot less hostile back then. There wasn't many keyboard warriors hiding behind screens. We were all on here just to meet up, chill, and have fun.

OH man, all those nights playing pool at Hot Shots then grabbing dinner @ Golden Award. we spent waaaay too many weekends there.

And clubbing at Atlantis, Voda, Luce, Purple Onion, Big Bamboo (Funktion Fridays) and Sonar. Good times were had. :alone:
