just a heads up. thats crankworx weekend in whistler.. traffic will be terrible

why the cruise instead of the car show now?

haha gonna be one slow cruise all the way there as 250 000 people pour into whistler for crankworx

Any option for cars and drivers to tag along and go to the coffee stop at Squamish and skip Whistler (time constraints)?

August 18. We meet at the top of cypress mountain at 11. Leave cypress at 1215 and head towards whistler. There is a coffee shop before Squamish that is right along the highway that we will stop at for pics and video. (15-30min) then head to whistler. I recommend parking at the Pan Pacific because we will all meet back there at 7 to drive back to Vancouver. If anyone just wants to come to Squamish only that is fine. The coffee shop is a good turn around point.

There is a good chance that both directions will be very very slow and at some points bumper to bumper traffic.... It's the final day of crankworx so lots of people heading up, and even more will be heading down around that time.

Honestly probably the worst day of the year for a sea to sky drive.

Most of people from CW are staying over night because there is a party.
