Never really thought of this until I saw this post. It was worth the skim through and I learned a couple things. Other then that though I do not think what this site earns monthly or annually is a concern to my usage or yours. Specially with the quality of the content you bring to this site.

When you start trying to help people through this site, whether they are looking for a local place to purchase something, or need some tech support with their vehicle. Do not bother with what this website brings in. Until then, consider what you bring to this site to even consider inquiring to an Admin about their income, or the amount of their own money they put into this site to keep it going.

Thanks!

And at this point I'd like to suggest that everyone use Adblock with the default setting to "off" and only enable it for problematic sites.

These sites that run ads are providing a service, with the hope that readers can generate some revenue in exchange. In most cases, no action is required by the reader - just a glance is enough for most ads to be beneficial to the people who run the site.

I'm not saying that it's "stealing" to run adblock, but it is definitely 'the right thing to do' to allow them to display. Some sites have takenth ings too far though, and I get that. For those, running adblock makes sense. They usually have very little to offer anyway, if they think they can get away with that.

tbh all the hate over asking a simple question is a bit of what's the harm in asking or telling or not telling?

seems as if just by asking everyone thinks that Timpo did so with malice... which is again

asking, answering, declining to shouldn't be looked at in a bad light imo

did i miss something? other than 1 fail and 1 post about RS losing $10 per Timpo post, it's been some light hearted "ballin" comments/pics, and a few serious posts by admin answering the question.

Any negativity here is directed toward timpo simply because he has such a bad reputation. And that's his own fault. It's practically a miracle that a decent thread actually came from one of his inane posts.
