FreeD Video: The Future of Instant Replay. Matrix Style.

Watching this video of instant replay of sporting events brings back memories of Keanu Reeves in the Matrix movies.

FreeD video, free dimensional video, gives viewers the ability to watch instant replay of sporting events from different angles.

The NFL will use this video technology at the Dallas Cowboys AT&T stadium.

This technology is being used at Yankee stadium.

This will be as big as when the NFL added the XFL style camera setups to follow the action on the field.

I'd imagine that this system is incredibly expensive though.

I think The Gap beats out The Matrix for this type of technology. Their commercial with "deadtime" was in 1994, 5 years before The Matrix. Not exactly the same as this, but the concepts are very similar.

Probably, but I think the NFL could afford it. ;)
