Reasonable price to swap all 4 tires? Have the tires, just need to swap my old bald ones out. What would be a reasonable price? |
Depends on where and size.. should be under $100 if no balancing etc. |
Depends on the shop. The place I go usually does 'em for free, balancing included, but I've been a long time customer. Cheapest place is probably Wal-Mart, but after one bad experience after needing emergency tire work done in the middle of nowhere, I'd be hesitant to bring it back. That said, you'll be looking at between $80 and $150, depending on the shop and what they include in the initial price. |
I agree around $80, I paid $25 a tire when I bought mine.. |

Go to T&J Auto Tire, nice guy and great rates. He also guarantees that there will be no wheel and tire damage. I went there 2 days ago and he dismounted tires from 8 of my wheels and mounted tires back on to 4 wheels and balanced it. He did it pretty fast, he worked on my car non-stop when I got there. And most importantly, he was $50-$80 cheaper than other places I called. |
Again, it really depends on the tire size, wheels and how you want them balanced. -stock sized, avg. passenger car tires w/ clamp on weights, you can pretty much take them anywhere -expensive rims, stretched tires, stick on weights = take them some place reputable TSS has never done me wrong in professionalism, workmanship and price. |
Big O tires on kingsway mounted and balanced low profile tires on 20x10 and 20x9.5 wheels for me. I think I paid $100 with valvestems out the door. My wheels were powdercoated all the way around and I found no damage from them putting my tires on:) They use the same touchless corghi machine other places use -- IIRC they do contract work for brian jessel? |
are you guys talking about used tires are brand new one?? If so, that's hella cheap. Posted via RS Mobile |
speed did mine the other day on 16". mounted and balanced for 80$ |

National tire on River road charges $1 per inch, ie. if you have 16" tires they will charge you $16 to mount and balance. At least that what they told me when I bought my tires there a couple of years ago. But its around $15-$20 a tire. |
