Sticky material to make things stand in the car What is the best thing to use to make figures stand on the cars dashboard area? I tried tape but that doesn't work very well so I was wondering if there is something better? Thanks! |
did you try double sided 3M tape? |
3m tape? Posted via RS Mobile |
Careful what you use. I had some dumb idea of using hot glue and it melted on a hot day :lawl: Was impossible to get off. Picked up some 3M double sided mounting tape from canadian tire and it doesnt melt. |
I use the squash scented Japanese air fresheners and the double sided foamies they come with are soooooooo good |
its a dashboard not a daycare |

I have an idea. Don't stick figurines to your dashboard. |

i use Blu-Tack to stick my bluetooth gps on my dash at track days to record lap times i use Blu-Tack over 3M tape is because i can always remove it when not needed, and doesn't leave any mark and best part is that its reusable :fullofwin: if Blu-Tack can hold onto my dash at the track with 1+ lateral g, it should be fine for daily drive |
2 part epoxy = strong like bull |
:ifyouknow: |
inb4 figurine paint fades from UV exposure. |
I used to have 2 gundam models on my dash but their guns melted on the dash (they were painted with a gloss paint) |
Woah is it 1997? |

have a gundam imprint on your face after an accident. Survived to tell the bitches. |
Stick all minions to dashboards! |
hang them on the mirror so you can count the G's. |
If you like being laughed at and shunned by some of your more mature friends then use double sided body molding tape. |
