repair windshield cracks? my windshield has a crack of about 2 feet long and cracking seemed to have stopped. wondering how much it would cost to fix it so it will not extend further more? anyone has experience to share? shops to recommend? or better just go through ICBC? |
lol you can't fix a crack -- even a 1 inch crack. The only thing you can fix is rockchips that look like a bullseye. As soon as you get that black line in the rockchip, you more or less have to get the windshield replaced because the crack has already started. |

There's no other way, your repairable window closed as soon as it started cracking. Posted via RS Mobile |
If you really need to find a reputable glass shop, I had great experience with speedy glass on kingsway/east 12. Professionally fixed a spider crack in less than 45mins, couldnt see the mark and good customer service. Think it was less than $100, with warranty. However if it was me, a long crack means new replacement but thats up to you. Pretty sure they do full replacement as well. Posted via RS Mobile |
