How to remove excess sealant/ on plastic trim?? I have some Autoglym sealant that I left too long on on the paint. I also got some on the plastic trim. Its leaving white marks on the plastic trim and some white streaks that I can't wash off. any idea how to get it off? thanks!!:okay: |
The stuff on the trim should come off by lightly agitating with a small, stiff bristled brush like a toothbrush. You could use a little bit of cleaner on the brush as well. It's quite durable so may take a few tries to remove it but it should come off. Same with the paint, some APC sprayed onto your wash mitt next time you wash the car should do it or use some light polish on a microfibre then reapply a light coat of the sealant to that area. |
^^ ok thanks Ken I'll give that a try. |
I've always used a Pink Pearl eraser to remove any wax on trim. Works fast, costs all of $0.10. |
