well from what i was told, the reason is because when girls wear bikinis, they're confident and prepared to show off their bodies. as in they're shaved cleanly, and maybe they're feeling good about the way they look.

when you catch a girl off guard they dont like it because they didnt expect to be seen that way. i think it makes some sense when explained that way.

Always wear shorts around the house. When in my room I take them off. Maybe coz when I was younger I always just rush to the back yard in whatever I was wearing so wearing shorts make sense.

i think it's ok and nothing wrong with it, but i think it will subconciously give off the wrong impression of you as a slob. being single and wearing boxers and nothing around the house is fine and i do it, but bachelors are meant to be slobs. but with a family you want to establish yourself as the man of the house, who works hard to contribute to keeping the family going. on the flip side if you're the child of the house (ie live with parents), my dad wore his tighty whities around and it was gross...and hell no i wouldn't want to see my mom or sister in their underwear...so i think everyone should just stay away from underwear only
