Smart-Meter vs Analog meter / Feedback?

Hoping to hear some feedback here from people who used to have the older style Analog meter and got switched over to the Smart Meter

Did your bill change?
If so did it go up/down?
By how much approx?

Just trying to gauge whether or not the $35/mo fee that they want to charge us is the cheaper option because from SOME of the feedback I've heard, $35/mo is pennies compared to the rate increase that upgrading can bring. (But then again I haven't heard a whole lot)

it's very rare that when u change ur analog meter over to the smart meter ur bill will increase
if it does happen though, it probably means that ur old analog meter wasn't accurately reading ur consumption. therefor, with the new and more accurate smart meter, ur bill will increase as a result of that

it might be a little difficult but if u want to see if what ur analog reading is accurate or not, do an energy audit of ur home for a 24hr period and see if it adds up to what increase in kwh shows on ur meter
