Transfering from Fido to Rogers?
 

I think i'll be transfering over to rogers. It'll be me and my brother so. I currently have a Nexus 4 and he'll have the HTC One soon. Does rogers cover cancellation fee? I'll be cancelling about a year left on my fido contract. And I heard I get a cheaper plan if I come with my own phones. Any feed back would be great!

call rogers and tell them that you have 2 lines that are about to cancel with their current providers and you are shopping around. see what they can offer you. i think it depends on the CSR you get. some will offer to, and some won't.

rogers has the better phones and rogers have the better retention plans? i mean normal plans they are almost the same nowadays..

I believe it is free, my buddy transferred over from Fido to Rogers
and Fido is their sister company

depending on your plan, just stay with fido. i made a huge mistake switching away from them a few years ago. dont worry about the devices, just suck it up and buy it outright.
