Automotive Service Technician's - Full Time

Are you looking for a challenging opportunity in a highly dynamic environment? If so, Rovalution Automotive is looking for you! Rovalution Automotive is a busy, automotive service and repair facility that specializes in quality repairs and personal service.

As an important member of our team, in this position you will:
- Inspect, Service and Repair our customer's vehicles efficiently as described on work orders using appropriate hand tools and shop equipment, including computerized diagnostic equipment
- Complete all major and minor mechanical repairs to our high quality standards, including engine, transmission, transfer case, differential, axle, suspension, braking, tire and electrical systems.
- Complete accurate and timely diagnosis of customer concerns and repair requirements.
- Road test vehicles and verify all repairs after completion.
- Keep up-to-date on all new technical information and factory technical bulletins
- Communicate and explain technical information with service advisor regarding work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements.

Requirements:
- Have completed Level 3 of the BC Automotive Service Technician qualification and/or the Canadian Interprovincial Red Seal Certification.
- 3+ years of current experience repairing mechanical and/or electrical systems and components on different vehicle makes including Domestic, European and Imports.
- A valid driver's license and a satisfactory Driver's Abstract.
- Provide your own tools and secure tool storage; incl. most tools for general repair and basic diagnosis.

Other Skills/Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry and commitment to providing superior customer service.
- Demonstrated initiative in recognizing opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Intermediate computer skills to enter and retrieve vehicle data from our technical resources.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, research and understand new vehicle systems and take training courses if necessary.

Well how about that. I've been browsing at other jobs lately and kicking around the idea of a career change. Possibly right out of the car industry or at least to european stuff
