Why isn't there mass damper for sportscar/supercars I'm sure all the people who have played with Mini 4WD were wondering...why isn't there mass damper for sportscars? It seems like only Mini 4WD and F1 machines ever had them. http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/xNFtlbN79lE/maxresdefault.jpg http://www.planeterenault.com/UserFi...s_Dampers2.jpg as you can see, it is quite an effective device to stabilize a car. |

because weight |
WTF is mini 4wd? |
Because the car would probably look retarded with that kind of solution built onto it. The mass would likely need to be upwards of 1/8 of the cars weight to have any discernible impact, and therefore would be quite large and ugly. Also as posted above, you are adding weight to the car which most companies try to avoid as they spend millions on making them as lightweight as possible. |
