Kenwood DNX890HD is anyone here running one of these? Kenwood - DNX890HD wondering if it is laggy or really complicated to use. was hoping to run it with an idatalink maestro. |
We've installed a few and they're pretty decent. Maestro is pretty coold stuff too. I personally prefer the user-friendliness of the Pioneer Navi units though even though they're not Maestro compatible. |

Installed quite a few with no complaints. Maestro is awesome too. Sad that other manufacturers didn't jump on board. In case people jumping into this thread wondering what we're talking about. Maestro URL: iDatalink - Maestro - Home |
good to hear because i am a bit undecided right now. i've been readling online user reviews (eg. crutchfield) and i see a lot of people complaining about slow startups and frozen screens. not sure if they are just from frustrated buyers who don't bother to read the manual or did not update the software. do you have any insider information on why other brands do not support maestro, ie. not just kenwood? i tried emailing idatalink but i only got a canned response back. |
