I was at Wal-Mart once and some employee collecting the shopping carts asked me what year my car was. Guessing he's not a car enthusiast cause he looked extremely surprised when I told him it's a 92 LOL

So....I don't have any badges on my car except for a Vtec logo and a metal mugen emblem...That's right...nothing on there says prelude...So at school, these people walk by, and they're like...What car is this? Is it a Honda Mugen?:derp:


Also, when I drive by Elementary schools, I've got a beanie baby and some Pooh hanging off my tow hook...Attracts all the LGs :troll:

Apart from random compliments during gas stops and after parking, the M3 always seems to unleash the street ricer in a lot of drivers when I slowly drive past them. I'm guessing it's either because of the badge in the back or they see my boost gauge, they either end up flooring it past me or try to egg me on into a race :suspicious:

When I had my Type-R however the best reaction I got was after doing a group drive to squamish one night with friends we were hanging out at Tim Horton's and a cute girl randomly walks up to us and asks who's ITR that was. Turns out she had one before but it got stolen (she's from Seattle). She chatted with us for a little bit before leaving in her WRX (:ahwow:) with her bf (:okay:)

Police would not press charges despite video evidence and ICBC finding damage caused by the liquid. Consequently, ICBC wouldn't waive deductible for my claim without police charges. No justice was served since he gave the cops the proverbial middle finger and wouldn't accept fault.

That's complete bullshit.

If the police are just going to sit on their fucking asses, doing the same thing right back to that RV driving asshole would probably end with no repercussions for you either..not that it would be worth the time seeing as that RV is a piece of junk.

It's really frustrating to see that no justice was served, that's really disappointing to say the least.

Thanks, the officers assigned to my case expressed the same frustration as I did actually. I appreciated their time and concern nonetheless, and I moved on and traded in the Civic Si.

Once had some older Filipino guy near his 40s in a dsm with HID's try to race me and my friend on our way home from Richmond. We ignored him but he followed us to our usually tim's for coffee. he got out and started asking me about my corolla, i told him that it is a Nissan and not a toyota ae86. He became annoyed and then tried to argue that it was a corolla and that nissan never made a hatch back in 85. Then i laughed and told him i must not know what car i own as i have 2... he got mad and walked to the bikers next to us and started trying to talk to them, they looked at us as we smiled and walked inside hahahahaha.

Same location a few months back i had a guy trying to buy my car, he loves it, and wanted to buy or trade for his acura that he had listed for 3 grand... he called me every few weeks to try to get me to change my mind hahaha

I was in my driveway dipping a set of wheels and a random dude walks by with his wife. He starts asking me about the plastidip, and is really interested by it. He then asks if my car is for sale, and I say no, I actually just bought it a few months back. He asks to see the interior. i show him the navi screen that pops up out of the dash, and he is pretty amazed by it, haha. He asks his wife to come over and look at it but she clearly didnt have much interest in cars. A lot of people have thought the semi-motorized nav screen is really cool.

Reminds me of a time, I was in my garage with mb_ and entrax, working on our MR2s. Mine was in the shop at the time, so it was just 2 of them, one in the garage and one parked outside. A guy walks by and is like, "Whoa dudes, nice cars! MR2s, right!" Some light conversation ensued, then he says he has a limited edition FC RX7, and how it was so much faster than our cars... I forget what he said exactly, but I was just about to tell him and his family to gtfo.. Pissed me off at the time, but in retrospect, it's kinda funny.
