Hello all, just brought a set of Kuhmo tires 215/45/R17. However, this new one is 1.5mm more wide than my current tires (which have the same spec 215/45/17) from another manufacturer. Can anyone tell me why ?

different brands are slightly different sizes, guessing its from things like extra belting or it could be different speed ratings.. Just like shoes, some i take a size 9 and others are up to 10 1/2.
I had those on my car but when i put on my bf goodrich tires i noticed they were a tad narrower
