Google Edition or Cyanogenmod/MIUI?

which one do you like more?
I have never tried nexus stuff, so don't really know what to choose, but after using CM for several years, I can't stand the instability, constant update (bug fixing), and the time I need to ask on diff forums.

I am getting a new secondary phone, either a Nexus or Xiaomi :okay:

I'm not really sure what you're getting at here...You're getting a new device and want insights on which direction to go for your new device?

I'm getting the Nexus5... I think the pure google experience is good. If anything, you can just add your fav loader/skin...etc on top.

Don't really understand the question since both the phones you choose will run either flavour.

Those are just roms.. you can pretty install any rom if its been ported over...

just get whatever phone has the better hardware...

Xiaomi arent popular anywhere else besides china.. so 3rd party support you gotta look at chinese forums.. Nexus on the other hand.. XDA is probably the best place for 3rd party support...

I see no reason to purchase a "Google Experience" phone. The best advice is to go for non-Google experienced phone of your choice. If you think TouchWiz is fascinating and you'd like to try it go for that, ditto for LG's software and Sense.

You can always go backwards to a Google Rom or Cyanogen from Sense or TouchWiz but you can't go the other way around.

Have you either thought about using a different ROM on your current phone? You seem to dislike CM, then why stick with it? Try AOKP, PA, etc......
