Acura 3.2 CL Baby Seat Question

Hi guys needed a quick response as I am looking to buy pretty soon. I need to know if the Acura 3.2 CL's had a baby seat latch and tether system? Basically two latches at the bottom and one teather at the rear deck.

Thanks

OP, I can't remember if my CL did. You can't take a look at the car before buying it?

PS, do you know about the automatic transmission issues these cars have?

you can always use the seat belts but make sure you fully extend it first and then install it on the car seat...

my advice...just get a 4 door rather a coupe

Exactly... it is going to be a huge hassle taking the child or the seat in and out of the car (considering a 4-door car is already that much harder to get into than a car with sliding doors).

+1 on 4 doors makes life a lot easier getting kids in/out of cars

If it's 2003 and above, then yes, it'll have LATCH. Be careful when getting a car seat though, because some manufacturers state exactly which cars with LATCH have been approved with their rear-facing car seat for the middle position. Not all cars have the proper width for the middle seat (the LATCH tethers needs to be min. of 11" apart).

I had two baby seats in my Accord coupe for a couple years. It was actually pretty easy to get both the seats and kids in and out of the car. My room mate also did the same thing with her old Mazda MX3. :lol

i had an mx3 and currently have a coupe, can't really picture me using either for baby seats...but since you mentioned you had 2 in your coupe :considered:

two bottom latches are all you need.
you push down on the baby seat and pull the belt as much as you can.
it will be very secure.

i've used baby car seat in all kinds of cars, my cars, rental cars etc.. never had to use seatbelt or rear latch.

make sure you get seat protector so baby seat wont damage your car seat Prince Lionheart 2-Stage Seatsaver - Black - Prince Lionheart - Babies"R"Us

haha as for the baby seat and two doors..its just for once in awhile use as my wife has a TL sedan which we primarily use for getting around on the weekends.

Or you could buy my M3 sedan that already has a latch for child seat. ;)
