Long story, kinda weird to explain. |
as others mentioned, 64k is due for a large service. -replacement of spark plugs, air filter, pollen filter, brake fluid flush, and dsg service. gti's are pretty solid cars, some things I can comment on: -they burn oil, check oil level often. -check engine lights.. fuel injectors or intake manifolds. both components have a warranty extention of 10 years/190,000kms. - carbon build up. depending on the driving habits, some can have some serious carbon build up by 64k. -premium fuel... a must. you'd be surprised how many cheap asses I see not putting the recommend fuel in these cars. vw's are extremely sensitive to improper fuel grades and the check engine light will appear. |
