All they needed to do was require a credit card to redeem the code. All of the other offers do this, and I bet nobody is bothering to use any of them.

I might buy a Final Fantasy game, those are usually expensive

{JaP} 11-10-2013 11:57 PM

Can anyone help me? mine says Code entered is not available in your country. Anyway to get it to work?

Lomac 11-10-2013 11:57 PM

lol Just tried to buy Final Fantasy Dimensions via my phone and I got an "Error: Your order was declined because it was considered high-risk. Please try again in 30 minutes."

:suspicious:

I think the Gmail trick is dead.

But if you send it to new email accounts, you'll still instantly receive your redemption email.

iKayChow 11-11-2013 12:13 AM

worked for my note 1.

v_tec 11-11-2013 12:16 AM

Too bad you can't buy a Nexus 5/7 with your Google Wallet :troll:

I used a VPN when I redeemed it

But then I logged into the play store on my phone without one and it worked fine. Just needed to answer the security question

v_tec 11-11-2013 01:05 AM

Why do you guys need a VPN?

To prevent being track?

did you change your wallet address to an actual US address?

v_tec 11-11-2013 01:27 AM

I give up.

Redemption codes are still coming in. But the last 3 I received, I'm getting this message:
Quote:

There was an error redeeming the gift card, please try again.
Is there any way to buy the RS app multiply times?
So I can donate some $$ back to RS without having to make 3242324 Gmail accounts.

Gh0stRider 11-11-2013 02:11 AM

damn, its not accepting my serial #

edit: nvm, it works now.

twitchyzero 11-11-2013 02:25 AM

RS mobile app has been down for months Skinnypupp

Gh0stRider 11-11-2013 02:43 AM

completed form, but no emails in the last 10 mins.

Tim Budong 11-11-2013 06:59 AM

the trick was after I realized the gmail "trick" stopped working was to create new gmail accounts to process it

I did it once more and then realized it wasn't worth the hassle

Do this: https://support.google.com/googlepla...38597?hl=en-CA
It should work then, you don't even need a VPN or anything actually.

EDIT: Nvm looks like this deal is dead

Great while it lasted. Ended up with 250 used a newly created junk account as I didn't want to mess with legit accounts.
Just purchased a bunch up games and upgraded a few system apps I was on the fence about to pro(lightflow)

Regardless support the development guys especially all those that do your kernels and such. I paid for all franco and fauxclock awhile back legitimately and it was well worth it. I can also say that as archaic as Titanium Backup may be, the people version was great for restoring apps.

No you can't gift an app to someone, all you can do is gift a Play Store card.

Thinking of spending credit on a GPS Nav app with offline/downloaded maps for US travel. Is there anything better than Tom Tom on Android? I use it on iPhone and it's quite good.

jing 11-11-2013 03:49 PM

Navigon > Tom Tom

Wish I had done more. My $50 credit isn't enough to DL one of the GPS apps. Guess I'll still have to lug my old iPhone around when I head down to the States, lol.

Why not just buy the app if it's useful? Or if you already scammed $50, add to it to get the app for cheap?
