I hope it gets more than 400hp or so. WRX Sti has been stuck with 280-300hp range since 1990s. |

meh….test drove a WRX STI couple weeks ago to see why so many people love them to death….i was left disappointed, its all right but i have definitely driven cars that were more fun to drive within the same price bracket. Thats just my opinion though ps. The exterior/interior design is meh too. |
And it needs to go 0-60mph in 3.0-3.5 sec range. The GT-R is hitting 2.7 seconds, even Mustang GT500 can do 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds, and Mustang is only it's only RWD with 285 tires. |

Ugh.... No thx. What ever happened to the rally inspired looks of the old imprezas? ........Looking at this thread reminded me of my first owned car.......of which I unfortunately traded a few months ago http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v55/seney/041-5.jpg Then wife happened... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v55/seney/cx52.jpg God I miss that boxer rumble :okay: |

was contemplating getting one when i was car shopping.. (bought the fiat instead..) it was indeed fast and practical (09' sport wagon.. awd for winter... seats four etc.) although the stock car felt... dull. Didnt feel exciting like an earlier GC8... maybe it felt too refined? |

How much power did you want from the WRX? If they bump it up much from current 265, then the STi has to go up otherwise there is overlap, which drives the cost up and fuel efficiency down, etc etc. And for daily driving auto trannies, CVT>auto IMO. If you won't get the auto anyways, you won't care it's CVT |
No more hatchback? I am disappoint Posted via RS Mobile |
Every car company is going for the squinty headlight design. lol |

Lol it looks like a souped-up corolla. That's why toyota insisted on designing the frs/brz. Posted via RS Mobile |

a part of me feels like this is what the legacy should've been (albeit a tad larger) as opposed to the current gen lol |
Here is a pic of the interior. Like seriously, is that the best Subaru can come up with? It's the same cheap azz boring interior as previous generations. The WRX is becoming the Ford Mustang of interiors. Same cheap and boring interior with different generations. Subaru should be embarrassed on releasing a product with such a half azzed interior. If it was like a 15,000 car, then I'll have no complaints. Just on the interior alone, I'm going to pass on this car. http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/3849/bfar.jpg |
^ looks alright for a 'rally car'...cant be comparing it to euros like the CLA Quote:
Spoiler! I actually like the front end of this new platform...i agree that a larger version as Legacy would look pretty good |
^I agree, you guys are asking for so much, haha. The impreza has always been a fairly basic no frills compact sedan. The WRX is based off of that, and obviously they will share most components to save on costs. The WRX and STi have always been oriented to the performance crowd with their drivetrain, nobody's ever bought an STi because it has a pimp interior (and arguably because it has an awesome exterior)! |
Don't really get what's wrong with that interior. It's nice and simple. Not clustered, everything is where it should be. It's not "beautiful" by any means, but it's def not an "embarrassment". What's with all the people bitching about the lack of power? Aren't these like the easiest cars to mod to get some extra power? This isn't even the STI version. Jesus fuck you can't please ANYONE these days. Go build your own fucking car.. /rant |
