Something I notice with the Z1 (maybe all phones with android? not sure) is that when I am constantly chatting with a few apps such as wechat, txt message, what's app. After a while the phone starts to lag when switching program. I have nothing running on the background expect those apps.

Once I close them or stop chatting the phone is fast again. Currently on stock android 4.3.

I have been ooking foward to the z1 compact for several months

never noticed anything wrong with the messaging apps, but i noticed the camera's not very good in low light (with or without flash) kinda disappointed since the camera was a selling point of the phone, but the S4 beats it by miles, front and rear cam

overall, after 2+ months of use i'd say S4 beats it in virtually every aspect
maybe build quality is better than S4, but then you also lose access to the battery
having to open that hatch to charge the phone also really bugs me, especially at night when you're fidgeting with it in the dark

I do too but with that you can't put any case on....... I just got the ghost armor and still it hard to put in the charge dock.

vibrate seems to be borken >< it making this weird buzzing noise when it vibrate @@

I can say 100% Z1 feels a lot snapper than the S4. Used the Z1 for 4 months and the vibrate broke. Went back to a S4 and I can totally feel there are lags when opening and switching apps. Touchwiz on the S4 really drag the phone performance down.
