MicroSim Question
 

I just gave my mom my old phone which requires micro sim but she only has a normal sim. Can I just grab a new rogers micro sim off craigslist or whatever and get rogers to transfer everything over and activate it? I dont want to spend 40 bucks in store buying one. Thanks

Yes. Costs $10 from the Rogers store and they can transfer everything on the phone for free and activate it.

Or you could be a peasant and cut it yourself but I don't really recommend it. I tried it and my signal was iffy at times...

Your carrier should just give you a new sim for free... that's what they do here at least. It would be stupid not to

Thanks everybody, the last time I actually bought a sim card was a few years ago and it was a ripoff from what i remember. Ill be visitng a store today to pick one up, thanks guys

Its $40 because its $10+ activating it+ administration fee. Dealerships usually charge them for $40
