Need help adjusting amp wire Whenever I turn on my deck (iDA-X305S) an annoying whirring sound pops out of the speakers. At first I thought it was supposed to be there, but I realized that it was probably a loose wire or something. Since I know nothing about these audio systems, I was hoping someone on this forum would be able to lend me some assistance! I am of course, willing to pay a small fee, or some beer, to help fix this. The previous owner whom I bought the car from was in the hifi/car audio business but it is all the way in the tri-cities area and I am in Richmond so it is not feasible for me to drive all the way there. Anyhow, if you think you can and are willing to give me a hand, please let me know! Thanks! |
It sounds to me like you have an incompatibility between the amp turning on and the deck turning on. I would try removing the amp trigger. Turn on the deck. Place the amp trigger wire back in it's place 5 seconds after the deck has turned on. If the noise is the same, it's your amp. If not, then I was right. We have two locations to serve you. One in Coquitlam & the other in Burnaby. Short drive, BIG happiness! |
Will give it a shot when I get home, thank you :)! |
