streaming tv/channels

anybody can guide me on streaming tv

goal: get rid of telus tv.

i am already on xbmc, but streaming channels like nbc/cbs etc isn't that great, or rather i am not finding correct steams.

anybody has idea on replacing tv with internet content steaming.

Streaming illegally will always be a nuisance. Downloading stuff illegally cannot be discussed here.

Your best bet is to go with stuff that costs money (one or a combination of services such as apple tv rentals, netflix, usa proxies for hulu) but based on your post you don't want to spend much money.

So short answer is no :)

Depending on where you live you can buy an over the air HDTV antenna from the dollar store and try that. They legally broadcast channels like CBC over the air.

There are "channels" that act like on demand shows...i watch shows from ctv all the time...the fact that they are ota helps as well...using navi x helps in bypassing geo locks...ie i watched old school knightrider from cbs before
