I have over 400 in total, pretty much all I could get in time for the meet.

is it possible to donate and/or purchase stickers before or after the event? only found out about it today and unfortunately can't make it.

The first post was edited, and I believe stickers are available via donation. min $5.

I will be on the north shore tomorrow, so if you can make it out this way I can set you up with some. Otherwise if I have any after the meet then I can make sure anyone who wants one gets one. (I dont know if I will have leftovers, given the fact that so many people are coming).


As e.lo said, stickers will be by donation, but I am setting a minimum of $5 (I think that is pretty reasonable). I was originally just going to say by donation, but some people who have done this type of stuff in the past warned me about it getting out of hand with people chipping in like nickles and dimes. As I stated on the FB, I'm not a vending machine, pennies and nickles are going to be a pretty big inconvenience.

100% of the proceeds will go to Red Cross for the Philippines. I looked into donating to Paul's Charity, but in the end I think the Red Cross works out better as the canadian government is matching all donations made. So basically the disaster victims get 2x the money.

I emailed the organizers about the Red Cross donations.
My company matches any donations made by employees. Then is donated to the Red Cross. Then the Government will match that. That's a big contribution.
Just an idea I wanted to throw out there.

And are you going to be there in the FX?
I want to be able to grab stickers before they run out.

Yeah $5min sounds about right, since there's only 400. If you had like 5000, I'd say $5ea, $20/5 would be good.

I'll be at work downtown until 5pm. Instead, I'll see if I can have somebody donate at the event on my behalf. Thanks!
