anyone else got this tablet at the MS store today? first 20 customers able to get it at $99 and then rest of the day its $199. Regular price was $299.

Its not too bad.. I picked one up at $199.. I was #24 so I missed out on the $99 price point..

Now Iam able to do my office work on the go on a larger screen. Since I can wifi tether my mobile phone data, the tablet is able to access internet...

Wasn't worth the effort for me. Good deal nonetheless if someone got it for $99. How early did you go?

Debated and realized that 8" is just too small for windows

My buddy said he went at 6, so I'm guessing 6AM? He got it for $99.

Well. Think of all the 7" netbooks that were originally released. It's manageable.

I fully agree... I bought the Surface 2 and keyboard to try out Microsofts new tablet and although the build quality was superb the 10" screen was just to small for Windows especially when using Microsoft Office.

In the end I already have macbook air and android tablet so this device didnt really have a "place" being good at both but not exceptionally well at either so it was returned.

I think once Microsoft can sync apps across all their platforms (phone, PC and tablet) they will be a force.
